Kellen Winslow's performance on a hot Miami night epitomized the ability
to reach deep within oneself. On January 2, 1982, the San Diego Chargers
traveled to Miami to take on the Dolphins in the semifinals of the
AFC Championship. What started as just another football game, became
what Sports Illustrated deemed the Game of the Century. An emotional
roller coaster with great team play, outstanding individual efforts
and players being pushed to the end of their physical capabilities.
When asked what he had learned about his yeoman's effort, Winslow often
replies "No matter how great the challenge, if you want to be
a winner, you put forth the effort necessary to be successful - because
at the end of the day, it's just another day at the office."
Winslow
is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia and the University
of San Diego School of Law. Kellen Winslow is a noted, accomplished
